Dr. Kinnor Das is a distinguished dermatologist known for his clinical excellence, academic leadership, and commitment to advancing dermatological care in Northeast India. He holds an MBBS and MD (Dermatology, Venereology & Leprology) from Silchar Medical College and Hospital, along with an MBA in Hospital and Healthcare Management, reflecting a rare blend of clinical expertise and healthcare leadership.

Currently serving as Consultant Dermatologist at Apollo Clinic, Silchar, Dr. Das is driven by a clear mission—to elevate dermatological services in the Barak Valley by introducing evidence-based, innovative treatments and modern procedural dermatology. His areas of interest include artificial intelligence in dermatology, dermatosurgery, psoriasis, pediatric dermatology, and Hansen’s disease.

A prolific academician, Dr. Das has authored over 50 scientific publications in reputed national and international journals and has contributed multiple textbook chapters, with a book authorship to his credit. He is also an active speaker, having delivered 15 scientific presentations at major dermatology forums.

His contributions have been recognized with several prestigious honors, including the IADVL Presidential Appreciation Medal (DERMACON 2025), IADVL SARCD Scholarship, IADVL Mentorship (2023), and the Late Dr. Ashis Dey Memorial Best Free Paper Award (CUTICON NE States 2025). He also completed an IADVL Observership in Pediatric Dermatology at CMC Vellore (2025).

Beyond research, Dr. Das plays an influential editorial and organizational role in dermatology. He serves as Associate Editor for Clinical Case Reports (Wiley) and Skin Health and Disease (Oxford University Press), and Junior Editor for the Journal of the European Academy of Dermatology and Venereology (JEADV). He was the Convener of the IADVL Mentorship Committee from 2024-25 and has held key scientific and social media coordination roles at CUTICON and ACSICON conferences.

Dr. Das is an active member of leading professional bodies including IADVL, AAD, ISD, ISPD, ACS(I), SES, and NSI.
