- Avoid tanning, sun exposure and self-tanning products for at least 2 weeks before treatment.
- Shave the treatment area 12–24 hours before your appointment, unless advised otherwise.
- Avoid applying creams, lotions, deodorants, perfumes or makeup to the treatment area on the day of your session.
- Inform the doctor about any medications, recent skin treatments, active infections, skin conditions or history of herpes in the treatment area.
- Do not undergo laser treatment over recently tanned, sunburnt or irritated skin.
Important. A consultation and assessment are recommended before starting laser hair reduction to determine your skin type, hair characteristics and suitability for the procedure. Individual preparation instructions may vary depending on the treatment area and your skin condition.
